Australia Post delivery dates to receive orders before Christmas 2025

We have now received an email from Australia Post recommending last dates for postage to receive orders before Christmas.  We recommend that you allow an extra 2 to 3 business days to Australia Post’s dates to have every chance to receive parcels as we need time to process, pack and post.

Australia Post recommended business lodgement dates for domestic parcels 2025 Christmas sending dates as follows.

In the lead up to the 2025 peak period, I’d like to share our recommended domestic parcel last lodgement dates, to ensure deliveries arrive in time for Christmas Day.

Christmas lodgement dates for most Australian states

We are recommending lodgement in metro locations by the following dates for delivery by Christmas

* Excludes items sent to and from Perth, Darwin and Hobart. To be delivered by Christmas, items sent to or from these locations with Parcel Post and Express Post need to be lodged by 12 December and 22 December, respectively.
